Terms of Service

Acceptance

By creating an account or using DocVault, you agree to these Terms of Service. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. If you are using DocVault on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

Description of Service

DocVault is a Webflow designer extension for hosting and managing documents and assets. Files you upload are stored in Cloudflare R2, served via a global CDN, and manageable directly within the Webflow Designer. We provide file storage, CDN delivery, download tracking, and plan-based usage management.

Your Account

You sign in to DocVault via Webflow OAuth — we don’t issue separate passwords. You are responsible for the security of your Webflow account. If you become aware of any unauthorised access to your DocVault account, notify us immediately at [email protected].

Your Content

You own all files you upload to DocVault. We do not claim any ownership over your content.

We act as a data processor, not a data controller, with respect to the files you upload. We do not access, review, or share your files except as necessary to operate the service or as required by law.

By uploading files, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and serve those files for the purpose of operating the service. This licence ends when you delete the files or close your account.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload and distribute any content you store in DocVault. Do not upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

Plans and Billing

DocVault is available on four plans: Free, Starter ($9/month), and Pro ($19/month) — each priced per Webflow site — plus Unlimited Sites ($49/month), a single account-wide subscription covering every site on your account. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.

Plan limits are enforced — when you reach your storage or document limit, further uploads are blocked. You will not be automatically charged or upgraded without your consent.

You may cancel your paid plan at any time. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which that site reverts to the Free plan. We do not offer prorated refunds, but we will work with you in good faith to resolve billing errors.

We will give at least 30 days’ notice before increasing prices for existing subscribers.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use DocVault for lawful purposes only. You must not:

• Upload content that is illegal, infringes intellectual property rights, or violates any applicable law
• Host malware, phishing pages, or other harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users’ data
• Circumvent plan limits through technical means
• Resell access to DocVault or sublicense the service without our written permission
• Use DocVault’s CDN infrastructure to operate a competing file hosting service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice, depending on the severity of the violation.

Intellectual Property

The DocVault name, logo, and software are owned by Honest Fox. All rights reserved. Your content remains yours as described in “Your Content” above.

Webflow Marketplace

DocVault is an independent product listed on the Webflow Marketplace. Webflow Inc. is not responsible for our service, uptime, support, or any aspect of our product. Our relationship with Webflow is as a marketplace developer — we are not a partner, subsidiary, or affiliate of Webflow Inc.

Service Availability

We provide the service on an “as is” basis. We do not offer a guaranteed uptime SLA. Planned maintenance, Cloudflare infrastructure events, or unexpected incidents may cause interruptions. We will communicate outages and maintenance to the best of our ability.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DocVault and Honest Fox are not liable for:

• Loss or corruption of files (we take reasonable steps to prevent this, but no storage system is infallible)
• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any kind
• Failures or outages caused by third-party services including Cloudflare, Stripe, or Webflow

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service is capped at the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are a small startup. We are being honest about what we can and cannot be held responsible for.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DocVault and Honest Fox from any claims, damages, losses, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your uploaded content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms.

Termination

You may close your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. Your files will be deleted within 30 days of account closure.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms or for non-payment after reasonable notice. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice and a reasonable window for you to export your files.

Changes to These Terms

When we update these terms, we will update the effective date at the top and email active users at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of DocVault after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you disagree with a change, you may close your account before it takes effect.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales for any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the service.

Miscellaneous

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remainder of the terms stays in full effect. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and DocVault regarding the service and supersede any prior agreements. No waiver of any right is effective unless made in writing. We may assign our rights and obligations under these terms; you may not assign yours without our written consent.
